Hello,
My name is Chris Becom and I am a hand percussion teacher.
I am also a musician, a music researcher and teacher of many types of percussion music from all around the World. drumLIFE is a drumming instruction program that I have recently started. It is aimed at teaching hand percussion lessons to foster student's musicianship and sense of a global community.

Over the 15+ years I have spent as a music student, performer, researcher, teacher and graduate student, I have developed a strong respect and love for world percussion music. From the Bohdran of the Irish, the Washboard of the African American South to the congas from all over Latin American, I strive to understand the people that created the music as much as the music itself.
