Lessons for Guitar and Piano
Students choose Chris and his program because the lessons are fun and they make them better musicians. Students and their parents choose the program because it is unique, convenient to where the live and offered at reasonably prices.
drumLIFE is unique because it is integration of world music and proven education strategies. In creating the approach, I have combined the experience that I have gained as a performer and musician of world music with the experience I have gained as a music teacher and graduate student in education and ethnomusicology.
Prices
Chris charges reasonable prices for individual, partner and small group lessons. Beginning students are encouraged to begin with individual or partner lessons where they are taught proper technique and fundamentals. After a short number of lessons, students can be transitioned into small ensembles where they can build their musicality in an exciting and interactive setting. Locations
Most individual, partner and small group lessons take place at the drumLIFE studio in North Raleigh. Private lessons at student homes can also be negotiated. Large group lessons often take place at local churches, schools or community centers. Contact Chris for more information.
